Delaware Valley 8th Grade Spring Football League Clinic Wrap Up
Saturday March 13th was a rainy stormy day but 50 coaches from our league and few local teams got to hear talks on technique, drills, building character and much more. Our executive board wants to commend all those that hung in there until 4 PM. It was a long day but the players of these coaches will be that much better when they put their new found knowledge to work this year in our 2010 season.
The board also would like to openly thank the Palmyra High School Administration for allowing us to use their facilities.
We have hand outs and DVDs from the some of the presentations. if any of the coaches didn't get a copy just have your league representative contact John Boris and he will get you a copy.
One piece of trivia for the day was that 8 years ago ( I believe we have been a league for that long) we tried to do this same thing and Mother Nature was just as cruel. It was our registration weekend and it was just as windy and rainy that we had to cancel the clinic. That year we were headed outside for actual work on the field to go through the drills to get ready for the season.
